I have a 10 gallon rectangle cooler with a single mesh screen hose that extends to the back of the cooler. Because the hose was a little long, I had to peel and curl up the hose so it fits. I am not getting good efficiency with my mashes, any ideas? Anyway to improve my rig, or should I start from scratch and by another one?

Hi Dave,

What are you getting for efficiency? Do you have any pictures of you mash tun, or your milled grain?

Dave,

Could you provide us with a little more information? Do you batch sparge or fly sparge? Do you mill your own grains? What is your efficiency and is it consistent?

Dave
